Egypt is a country in North Africa and is one of the most populous countries in Africa. Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world's most famous monuments, including the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. The southern city of Luxor contains a particularly large number of ancient artifacts such as the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. All these monuments and the fact that Egypt has Red Sea coast makes it great for vacation.

After doing time in Iraq and Kuwait I came to the conclusion that I would never set foot in the midle east. The only exception would be Egypt.

These pictures bring back some wonderful memories.... I lived in Zamalek (Ciaro)for 2 years and have similar photos with me riding camels and barebacking on Arabian horses in the dessert by the Sphinx and piramids. I dont' think they offer such luxuries now a days. I also traveled up the Nile to Abusimal, Aswan and Luxor and spent quite awile in the Valley of The Kings, Queens and Nobels.... I used to be in the import/export business then - now I only have photos I've imported into a album I visit every now and then...
